To have lunch inside the Peace Park, there is a Western-style restaurant on the 2nd basement floor in the International Conference Center which is located  in the east side of the Peace Museum building.

Okonomimura

Hiroshima is famous for "Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki". You will find hundreds of restaurants serving this local specialty, but Okonomimura–literally okonomiyaki village–may be a good place for first-timers as there are many small restaurants on the 2nd to 4th floor of the building. It takes about 15 minutes on foot from the Peace Park along Hondori Shopping Arcade.

Italian restaurant "Caffe Ponte"

This is a very popular Italian restaurant located on the opposite bank of the river to the Peace Park on the way to Hondori Shopping Arcade.

Oyster restaurant "Oyster Boat Kanawa"

Just near Cafe Ponte mentioned above, you will see a boat floating on the river. It is a restaurant serving famous Hiroshima oysters.​ It is a relatively expensive restaurant, but worth trying!
